The opening reception for the exhibit “A Mile in My Shoes” will take place Friday, February 10th, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at C3 Lab, 2525 Distribution Street.

Come join us opening night of “A Mile in My Shoes Exhibit”! This event is free and will feature amazing spoken word and live music from Guerilla Poets and other talented local artists.
A Mile in My Shoes Project is an art exhibit showcasing the youth at Time Out Youth’s self expression of their journey as part of the LGBTQ community.
They have transformed their struggles, triumphs and discoveries into art for each shoe to symbolize their own unique experience. The shoes used in this exhibit were all donated by caring souls in the Charlotte Metro Area for use of the art, as well as pairs of shoes that will also be donated to SHC (Supportive Housing Communities). Come on out to support and meet some of the youth themselves!
