Some information about a last-minute opportunity from Queens University of Charlotte this summer:
Tower Bridge International / New Oasis (TBI/New Oasis) has a limited number of spaces available for middle school students (grades 6-8) to attend a FREE Robotics camp at Queens University of Charlotte from July 10th – 13th. This camp is part of a larger cultural exchange program that brings middle school students from China to Charlotte from July 5th – July 18th, and a few additional families are needed to host a Chinese student in their home during this time.
A financial stipend to offset hosting expenses is provided. Ideally, students who attend the camp would also host a visiting Chinese student. American middle school students who attend the camp or host a student in their home are invited to accompany the group on three fun, free excursions including the Biltmore House, Carowinds, and more!
