Opera Carolina is presenting the children’s opera “How Nanita Learned to Make Flan” in the Historic Courthouse, 131 North Gaston Street, Dallas, on Saturday, November 7th, 2015, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.. The Gaston County Museum, the Town of Dallas, and Opera Carolina are proud to present a day at the opera in the Historic Courthouse. Based on a modern fable by Campbell Geeslin and featuring music by Enrique Gonzalez-Medina, this children’s opera weaves in the Spanish language as it celebrates Mexican traditions throughout Nanita’s journey.
This performance is a wonderful opportunity to experience the opera with your family and see Gaston County’s historic courthouse erupt in color and music.
Reservations are required and it is a Pay What You Can admission. All proceeds will go to Opera Carolina.
