More info from the organizer:
It is my pleasure to announce Peaceful Pandas: A mindfulness and meditation program for children, and their parents and grandparents. This program will include many activities to instill a sense of peace, love and joy in the hearts of children of all ages. Parents will have the opportunity to participate with their child(ren) and activities will be inclusive as we begin to explore what it means to function from the heart. We will listen to and read stories of mindfulness, learn simple practices to calm the mind and body through meditation and yoga, and crafts that will delight the child in everyone to include creating your child’s own meditation pillow and creating our own mandala’s, and more. This fun filled and joyous session is geared toward children ages 4-8, though other ages are welcome and encouraged to attend as it is sure to be of value to all.
Please don’t hesitate to email me with questions, linda@kumaracenter.org. Feel free to bring something to sit on, like a yoga mat or towel. This is a free event, however Love donations are gratefully accepted.
