Visitors of all ages are invited to Picnic in the Park on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Join McColl Center ArtPlace America Environmental Artist-in-Residence, Rugunzu Bruno, during the opening of Brightwalk’s new Playscape. It’s at Anita Stroud Park, near the playground (approximately 1605 Woodward Avenue.) Rugunzu Bruno designed structural play elements at the park, namely a butterfly and a caterpillar and this celebration marks its transfer to the community. Bring a picnic, blanket and outdoor games.
