On Saturday, January 27, 2024, Pinhouse, 2306 Central Avenue, Charlotte, North Carolina, is holding a Pig Pickin’. All pulled pork sandwiches will be just $2. It will be start at 12 p.m. and go until all the sandwiches are gone!
A little back story: Pinhouse’s marketing director’s dad, Greg, has kidney failure and has been in search of a kidney donor. He’s going through weekly dialysis, and trying to bring some attention to the issue of kidney disease.
Merging this mission with his love of Eastern North Carolina BBQ, Greg will be at Pinhouse all day with a giant pig cooker, where he’ll be smoking two whole hogs.
Eastern NC pulled pork sandwiches will be $2 all day. Proceeds will go toward helping bringing awareness to kidney disease. They don’t say this, but I will: donations will surely be appreciated!
In addition, all Buffalo Trace will be $7 and all Eagle Rare will be $8.
