Argh Matey! Bring your best pirate costumes and voices and sing along in this traditional “Gilbert and Sullivan Sing” event: where the audience is the chorus! Or sit back with your kids and watch the musical story unfold! Admission is free for all ages, donations appreciated. Kid friendly, costumes encouraged. Presented by the Little Opera Company of Charlotte.
STORY: A rollicking band of pirates clash with bumbling policemen and a bevy of beautiful maidens in “The Pirates of Penzance”! A former pirate apprentice swears vengeance on his old associates, only to discover he is still bound to them until his 21st birthday…and he was born on a leap year.
