World Philosophy Day is this week and New Acropolis Charlotte is celebrating with a Plato Reading Day at Books-a-Million, 14151 Steele Creek Road, on Friday, November 20th, 2015, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. It’s free.
Join our 1st Annual Plato Reading Day honoring over 2400 years of Plato’s thought and influence starting with the Academy–the first university in the west! We will come together to learn about this genius greek philosopher and his teacher Socrates.
Socratic Dialogues will be read with snacks and coffee. No previous knowledge required.
