WFAE’s Podcasting 101 is a free podcasting class that takes place each Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. It’s presented in partnership with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.
This FREE workshop is hosted by Joni Deutsch, WFAE’s podcast manager and host of Amplifier, a podcast that focuses on Charlotte musicians and songwriters.
The workshop will take place every Tuesday, through May 26th, 2020, on Zoom. Reserve your spot for one of the classes by following the above link.
The class materials and lessons will be the same for each date, so you should sign up for just one class.
At this class you’ll gain:
- An understanding of the fundamentals of podcasting
- Tips on how to record, produce, and upload a podcast
- Ideas on how to market the podcast and connect with listeners
- A resource list (with tips, tricks and how-to’s) to help continue podcasting
The class is for people age 18 and up who are interested in podcasting and sharing their ideas and stories through audio. No knowledge or experience is required.
The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. and last until 7:30 p.m., followed by a 30-minute question and answer session.
