April is National Poetry Month and there are lots of ways to celebrate with Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.

Poetry Month Kickoff Ceremony

Join Slam Master Bluz and other local poets for the unveiling of the 2018 National Poetry Slam Championship trophy at Main Library.Following the presentation, the library will open the poetry desk. The Poet is IN offers customers a chance to take home a custom poem crafted by a local poet while they wait. This desk will be open from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. each weekday in April.
