Poetry Out Loud is back at Children’s Theatre of Charlotte for the Regional and State Competitions! Who will be the next state champion to represent North Carolina in the National Competition in Washington, D.C.?
High school students from across the state will take the stage at the McColl Family Theatre, showcasing the power of poetry and performance in their quest for the title.
Poetry Out Loud takes place Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at ImaginOn, 300 E 7th Street, Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s free to watch.
Join us to cheer on your favorite poems and performers at these three competitions:
- 10 a.m.: Poetry Out Loud: Central/West Region Semi-Final Competition
- 1 p.m.: Poetry Out Loud: Eastern Region Semi-Final Competition
- 4 p.m.: Poetry Out Loud: State Final Competition
This event is free and open to the public—come experience the magic of poetry in motion!
