Back to School Giveaway from Poor No More

Poor No More is an organization that operates a free store. The free store is generally open once a month. No registration or application is necessary. People who are in need can just visit and pick up clothing or household items.

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Poor No More is holding a community free store with a back to school giveaway at Sacred Souls Community Church — United Church of Christ, 2127 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Please enter Eastway Drive, going toward Kilbourne Drive. The church is nestled far back from the street.

As usual, no registration or application is required. At the Back to School Giveaway, which is hosted by Belk, the first 200 children can receive fully stocked book bags. The child must be present. Clothing and household items will also be available.

Doors open at 9 a.m.

If you fill out a quick survey by Johnson C. Smith University Health Equity Data Consortium, you can also receive a complimentary lunch and a gift.
