VisArt Video, at 3104 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina, hosted its first ever Puppets Everywhere Festival in November and December, 2024.
The events included workshops, movies, storytelling and more. ALL events were free.
One event, Giant Puppet Creation Workshop, had to be rescheduled. It will be taking place on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m.
You haven’t seen anything until you have seen a GIANT puppet of Alice Guy-Blaché. There will also be films about her playing in the background as professionals share she was made and what it takes to operate a marionette of this magnitude.
All events in the Puppets Everywhere Festival at VisArt Video are sponsored by Arts & Science Council Culture Blocks – a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.
