Queen City Quiz Show is a live, traveling game show about the past, present and future of Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s funded by a Knight Foundation Grant.
It’s hosted by Tim Miner and Matt Olin of CreativeMornings/Charlotte. Tickets to every event is free.
Here’s how it’s described:
Queen City Quiz Show is partnering with diverse neighborhoods and communities in the Queen City to share information — trivial, entertaining and (sometimes) challenging — about Charlotte’s past and present, so we can move together to shape the future. Every live event will feature local artists, musicians, food and drink, as well as two teams of four players facing off against each other in front of a live audience. Winners will receive a check for the non-profit of their choice. And, every game will include a moderated discussion led by Brendal Tindal of the Levine Museum of the New South.
The Queen City Quiz Show Finale will take place Saturday, October 7th, 2017, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Camp North End, 1824 Statesville Avenue.
