Acclaimed ragtime piano player Ethan Uslan will be performing at Petra’s Piano Bar, 1919 Commonwealth Avenue, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. The cover is $5. He will show a short silent film, accompanied by his live piano playing. Then he will be joined by “Abby the Spoon Player.”

She’s back! Abby the Spoon Lady is returning to Charlotte to join me at Petra’s this month. Yes, Ethan Uslan, World Champion of Ragtime Piano, will be makin’ sweet music with Abby the Spoon Lady, who uses kitchen utensils the way they truly should be used – clickity-clack, a-clickty-clackety, etc. As usual, Ethan likes to show a short silent movie first, maybe some Charlie Chaplin, maybe some Buster Keaton, and then…bring out the spoons, baby!
