The South End Rail Trail Cleanup is a fun way for individuals and families to volunteer and help the South End. The events take place on three dates in spring of 2025 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The next two Rail Trail Cleanups take place:
Registration is free and will take place in person anytime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. at the New Bern Light Rail Station, 129 New Bern Street, Charlotte.
All clean up supplies will be provided by Keep Charlotte Beautiful.
Individuals and small groups will walk at their own pace and clean up litter along the Rail Trail and surrounding streets.
Following the Clean Up, there will be a Volunteer Appreciation Event, beginning at 12 p.m., to celebrate all of the volunteers’ efforts.
Volunteer Appreciation Events:
- March 22: HopFly Brewing Co.
- April 19: Wooden Robot
- May 17: Resident Culture (South End)
Volunteers (21+) receive a complimentary drink ticket along with a raffle ticket for a chance to win 30+ prizes, courtesy of our local business sponsors.
These are family and pet friendly events and will take place rain or shine.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
These events are presented by US Bank, South End, HopFly Brewing Co., Resident Culture, Wooden Robot and South End Social along with corporate sponsor Skufca Law.
