Carolina Raptor Center, 6000 Sample Road, Huntersville, North Carolina, is holding Raptor Recess on Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The activities are included in regular admission.
There will be games all along the raptor trail.
In addition, special programs will demonstrate the importance of enrichment for the resident birds. Learn how the Center promotes the physical and mental well-being of the birds.
You can even create enrichment (aka toys!) for the birds! The Raptor Center will provide all the supplies you need to craft the items!
Schedule:
- 11 a.m.: Meet a Raptor
- 1 p.m.: Fly-By
- 2:30 p.m.: Keeper Chat
Tickets:
- Age 23-65: $16
- Age 13-22: $14
- Age 3-13: $12
- Under age 3: Free
- Seniors (65+): $14
- Military, teachers, students: $14
Free admission for a family of four for individuals participating in SNAP/EBT or WIC. In addition, members of Indigenous Tribal nations are admitted for free.
