The 2nd edition of The Great NC BBQ Map is available for purchase from EDIA Map Makers. The fold-up map, perfect for your glove box, includes information on more than 450 restaurants, shacks and eateries, as well as a BBQ timeline, a list of BBQ festivals and cook-offs and more. The creators of the map, Charlotteans Amanda Fisher and and Paul Bright, will be at Levine Museum of the New South, 200 East 7th Street, on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. to discuss and sign the maps, which will be available for purchase. The signing will take place in the lobby, so you don’t have to pay admission to the museum. During the event, free samples of BBQ and cole slaw from The Improper Pig will be available.
