If you’re age 55+ there are some senior discounts in the Charlotte area that you might want to know about. This isn’t a comprehensive list of discounts, but we’ve collected some good ones. We’ll be adding to the list as time goes on. If you know of discounts that should be added, please email us at info@charlotteonthecheap.com, and we will add them as time permits. (In other words, it might take a little time.)
At this time we’re not listing restaurant discounts for senior, but we hope to add that in the future. We have information on senior discounts for fitness and aquatic centers, grocery shopping, a drugstore, and museums.
Also, please note that all discounts listed below are subject to change without notice. We will periodically update this list, but make sure to visit the venue’s website to verify the information.

Cathey Franklin says
Good you included items of interest to seniors, but how about some active stuff? I am 76 and direct a (darned good) senior clog dance team, distance swim, walk 10+ miles per week, do yoga, and do all my yard work. Many of us are quite active, Y’awl!
Jody Mace says
That’s why I suggested a couple times in the post that you should look at the general calendar. Most of the items on the general calendar are suitable for most seniors. Nobody is limited to certain items on our calendar.
I said this: It bears saying that every person is different, and many of the events on Charlotte on the Cheap’s calendar might be of interest to people of any age. There’s no upper age limits for events for adults, so use your own interests and preferences as a guide.
And this: Again, this is not a comprehensive list of events on the calendars that might be a good fit for you! Check out our whole calendar too.
