Sensory-Friendly Hours at Discovery Place Kids in Huntersville

Discovery Place Kids, at 105 Gilead Road, Huntersville, North Carolina, holds sensory-friendly hours the first Sunday of the month, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

During these times, children with sensory sensitivities and special needs can enjoy the Museum’s exhibit spaces in a calmer, quieter environment.

Also, families can check out sensory backpacks with noise-canceling headphones, sensory-friendly toys and manipulatives on a first-come, first-served basis.

Admission is regular price, which is $15 per person, except children under age one, who are admitted for free.
