Showmars, the southern-style Greek chain, is now selling groceries. They started in response to the closing of dine-in eating, but are continuing the service.
Showmars is utilizing its supply chain to get essential groceries to you at affordable rates.
They don’t offer the products of a full grocery store, and some of the products are offered in bulk. You probably won’t find your favorite brand, but this is a great additional way to get food for your family.
The prices are good. For example 6 rolls of toilet paper for $4.98, and 5 salmon fillets for $14.75.
They seem to be well-stocked in some hard-to-find items, like toilet paper, milk, eggs, hamburger meat, and disinfectant spray (not for internal use.)
They are offering FREE shipping (normally $10) with the promo code charlotteonthecheap.
They are also offering FREE items with every order, while supplies last. As this post is being written, you can get 15 pounds of Hickory Smoked Bacon and 5-6 bananas for free with your $65 order.
When you are on Showmar’s grocery page, just click on “free” near the top, and you can see if there are free items available. You need to add the free item(s) to your cart. You won’t get them automatically.

There were no free items when I placed my order yesterday. I emailed them inquiring and no reply.

Tater tots were free yesterday, and I just checked this morning, and they still are. Click on “Free” for the category.

I ordered from them a month ago when you first posted and I never received any freebies. They weren’t offered.

Like I mention in the post, you need to click on “Free” for the category and see if any are offered. There are not always freebies available. Just some of the time. When they’re there, you just add them to your shopping cart like any other item. They won’t automatically be added. And they are “while supplies last” so sometimes they go quickly. But I have gotten MANY freebies this way (including 15 pounds of bacon!!) and many other folks have too.
