Petra’s, at 1919 Commonwealth Avenue, is showing the silent movie “Les Vampires” on Tuesday, October 27th, 2015, at 9 p.m. Ethan Uslan will be accompanying on piano. The cover charge is $5 and this event is for ages 21+.
It may be 2015, but Charlotte pianist Ethan Uslan did not get the memo. He thinks its 1915. And so he will be playing piano as a live soundtrack to “Les Vampires” – the French crime/action film sensation from 100 years ago. Basically its about a secret criminal organization called “Les Vampires” who chop people’s heads off, poison them with rings (you have to see it to see how that works), throw them from moving trains, etc. Come check it out!
