Blumenthal Performing Arts presents monthly poetry slams, hosted by SlamCharlotte, a championship team of spoken word poetry.
At a poetry slam, poets perform spoken word poetry in front of an audience, and are judged by a panel of judges.
The next SlamCharlotte Poetry Slam takes place Wednesday, December 22nd, 2021, at 8 p.m., at the Ford Building at Camp North End.
You can use 1774 Statesville Avenue, Charlotte, as an address, but any parking lot at Camp North End will work.
This is a free event, but there will be an opportunity to donate to SlamCharlotte.
Immersive Van Gogh is also taking place at the Ford Building through January 2nd, 2022.
