Fort Mill’s South Carolina Strawberry Festival takes place this weekend, Friday, May 2nd, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday, May 3rd, 2014, 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Enjoy outdoor concerts, eating contests, hourly pig races, a kids’ zone, a car show, fireworks, visits from the 2014 Strawberry Queens and more. The festival is at Walter Y. Elisha Park, 345 N White Street in Fort Mill. Some of the bands are Sol Fusion, Mr. Potato Head, Fort Mill High School Jazz, Catalinas, Fantastic Shakers, The Stranger (Billy Joel tribute) and Hoodwinked.
