Sugar Creek Brewing, at 215 Southside Drive, is hosting a free event that will give you a taste of the new Southern State of Mind IPA, raise money for Second Harvest Food Bank, and offer some fun free activities for the whole family. It takes place Saturday, October 15th, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Here are the details:
Southern Tier Brewing Company and Sugar Creek Brewing Company have joined forces to brew for the better, specifically, to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina (SHFBM). SHFBM supplies food and grocery items to assist people in need across 14 counties in North Carolina and five counties in South Carolina. Both breweries will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this beer to SHFBM. Every $1.00 contributed to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina provides seven pounds of food, giving this collaboration beer the potential to help thousands of hungry families locally, but only with YOUR help!
