Charlotte Folk Society is presenting a Community Square Dance on Friday, March 7, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Unitarian Universalist Church, 234 N Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, North Carolina. Pre-dance fund starts at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10. Admission is free for kids ages 16 and under. Buy tickets here.
The event features Phil Jamison as caller, and live music by the string band, Eat More Chicken.
The event will start with a music jam, with food for purchase from LKN Food Truck, and beer for purchase from Petty Thieves at 5:30 p.m.
Then there will be a square dance workshop for beginners led by Phil Jamison at 6:30 to 7 p.m., with the dance following from 7 to 9 p.m.
