The Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day and Festival returns to Uptown Charlotte on March 15, 2025.

The parade and festival take place:
- Parade: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Festival: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Charlotte Patrick’s Day Parade
The parade steps off at 11 a.m. It starts at Tryon Street and 9th Street and will march down Tryon Street with bagpipes, marching bands, floats and more than 1,000 marchers.
In past years, the parade drew over 80,000 spectators.
Charlotte St. Patrick’s Day Festival
The festival, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will extend down Tryon Street from 3rd Street to Levine Avenue of the Arts, where a stage across Tryon Street will have bands, Irish dancers and more.
The festival will also feature artisan vendors, food trucks and activities for children.
There is no admission charge to the event, but some of the activities have costs associated with them.
