Middle and high school students have a chance to learn Mandarin Chinese this summer, at no charge, through StarTalk. This in-person program at Queens University takes place July 15 to August 2, 2024.
Applications have opened for 2024. You can apply here. Apply by January 31 to receive priority consideration. If spaces remain or become available after this time, additional selected applicants will be notified on a rolling basis.
Pre-program and post-program enrichment activities will be available as well for admitted students, completely free. For example, a group of students from the 2023 program are being taken to see the Shen Yun performance, and free online conversation hours were provided in the fall and winter.
