Carolina Raptor Center and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation are hosting STEAM Day at Latta on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Latta Nature Preserve, 6345 Sample Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078.
This is a FREE day of adventure, exploration and hands-on learning, featuring science, technology, engineering, arts and math fun for all ages. No tickets are required.
Carolina Raptor Center:
At the Carolina Raptor Center, enjoy free access to the Raptor Trail, a zoo highlighting birds of prey and home to more than 30 avian ambassadors. Engage with community partners to learn about STEAM through hands-on activities.

For the safety of the guests and birds, these programs have limited capacity and are first come, first serve. Seating begins 15 minutes before the program begins.
Quest Nature Center:
At Quest Nature Center, dive into exploration with their 6,000 gallon native freshwater fish tank, hands-on water table, and animal ambassadors. Learn more about how water shapes life through a variety of community partners.
