This weekend, watch two days of fast-paced soccer action at Romare Bearden Park. Street Soccer 658 brings together four-person teams from around the country to compete on a special Sport Court surface.
It’s free to watch and family-friendly. The games go on 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 25th, 2017, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 26th.
A little more about the teams:
We are excited to have teams from the east coast and midwest join us for a weekend of soccer, comeraderie, and fun! Teams traveling to Charlotte for the tournament include: Street Soccer USA New York, Richmond Street Soccer, Street Soccer USA Philadelphia, Street Soccer St. Louis, and Street Soccer Chicago. Each team is composed of at-risk men and women who, for the most part, are without a stable living situation.
