Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation’s Sundown Sounds, a FREE concert series, returns from June 14 to August 22, 2024. It will take place in three different Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation locations.
In all there will be nine free concerts in the summer of 2024.
Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is allowed. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

Eastway Regional Recreation Center

- June 20: D.K. Harrell (Blues)
- July 18: Groove Machine (Funk; 70s era party band)
- August 15: West End Mambo (Latin dance)
Fourth Thursday of Month
Pearl Street Park
1200 Baxter Street, Charlotte, NC
7 to 9 p.m.
- June 27: The Entertainers (Beach music)
- July 25: Carolina Soul Band (Beach music)
- August 22: Landslide (Classic rock/Fleetwood Mac tribute band)
