Support Local or Else - a way to support local businesses (and business owners, make sure to read this!)

We’re all feeling the strain, and, honestly, these are still early days. We need to stay home, but that creates huge problems for local businesses.

Without people coming to restaurants, stores and breweries, these businesses will struggle, and some will close. When we emerge from this crisis, our community will be the poorer for the loss of these businesses.

Also, every business has employees who are suffering financially.

The owners of Black Wednesday and Hygge have come together to start a new website, SupportLocalOrElse.com.

On this website, Charlotte area business owners can offer one deal. The deal or promotion needs to be something people can engage remotely, at a later date, or with minimal person-to-person contact. For example, curbside pickup a gift card deal or discounted product.

There is no cost for business owners to submit a deal.
