Zootastic is offering free admission to teachers and their immediate families on Thursday, June 25th, 2015. Zootastic, at 385 Ostwalt Amity Road in Troutman, includes a petting zoo, as well as a walk-through safari of domestic and exotic animals. Zootastic would like to show teachers what it has to offer as a field trip destination. The day, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., includes animal talk time, lunch, prize drawings and more. Bring your state or city teacher ID for admission. A paystub will not do the trick, you need to bring your ID. This event is not intended for homeschoolers, but they have another day for homeschoolers. Email them at info@zootasticpark.com for more information on that. Registration is not required, but is appreciated.
