Terrific Tuesdays, a shared program of Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, are free shows for kids on seven Tuesdays this summer, from June 18th, 2019, through August 6th (except for July 2nd) at ImaginOn. The show will take place twice on each of these Tuesdays, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

You must sign up in advance for your free tickets, and past experience shows that the spots go very, very quickly. You can start signing up 12 or 13 days (see below) before the particular show, and you’d be wise to do so that very day.
On that date, you’ll see a link on the Terrific Tuesdays page to reserve the free tickets. You may reserve up to six tickets. Everyone needs one, including adults, kids, toddlers and infants.
Group Reservations are only available for groups of 15 or more (you must have at least 15 in your party to make a group reservation).
June 18 | The Balloon Lady

The Balloon Lady is back with an all new show! Donna Pruett’s entertaining program includes award winning balloon creation, music, storytelling, and engaging magic tricks that appeal to children of all ages. You’ll be amazed by what she can create with just balloons and a bit of imagination.

June 25 | Carolina Raptor Center’s Raptors Inspire
Tickets available June 12
Live birds of prey will help you discover their kinship with native wildlife and humans. Learn what makes raptors unique in the avian world and explore what actions can be taken to make a difference for wildlife and our environment. Programs are designed to meet NC Standard Course of Study.

July 9 | Steve Marshall’s Magic Comedy Show

Steve has lived and performed in Japan for over 20 years! His show is filled with magic, comedy, and the importance of understanding and learning from people who are different than you. Filled with a unique blend of Japanese magic, comedy, and fun for everyone!

Come enjoy “Barnyard News” presented by InReach’s Troupe 801. Troupe 801 is a professional touring puppet troupe comprised of individuals with special needs. The show “Barnyard News” teaches a message of acceptance of all and that our uniqueness is what makes each of us special!
