Time Sawyer’s popular Sam on Sunday livestreams are back in 2021.
On Sunday, April 25th, 2021, at 7:30 p.m., Time Sawyer will be putting on a full band show, streamed from Neighborhood Theatre.
The Charlotte-based folk rock band, like all other bands, saw its tour dates vanish in March of last year, and quickly adjusted by presenting a weekly solo livestream from lead singer Sam Tayloe’s home.
The show grew to include the “Can to Can” segment with musical guests including Darrell Scott, Town Mountain, Daniel Donato, Emmanuel Wynter, Joe Pug and many more artists. On occasion, Time Sawyer presented a full band Time Sawyer livestream from a local venue.

The show, broadcast in High Definition, with professional audio and multiple camera angles, can be viewed on Facebook or YouTube.
It’s free to watch, but donations are welcome and are split among the band members. Last season the show also raised funds for Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, The NAACP Charlotte Chapter, the Winston-Salem Urban League and The Eventing Muse. The band plans to use some episodes this season to raise money for local community groups as well.
Episodes are scheduled twice a month, both at 7:30 p.m.:
- 2nd Sunday of the month: solo show
- 4th Sunday of the month: live band show from music venues around Charlotte
