University City Partners are presenting UCity Lights, a tree lighting celebration, at Shoppes at University Place, 8931 J M Keynes Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina. This holiday event will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m.
This is the second year for this event at Shoppes at University Place.
This free event will include:
- Meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus
- Entertainment
- Creating your own ornament
- Hot cocoa
- Polar Express ride
- Stilt walkers
- Mickey and Minnie Mouse
- Toys for Tots
- Caricature artist
- Face painting
- Ornament decorating
- Photo booth
- Tree lighting at 7:10 p.m.

- Janeva Tyree will lead a group painting where attendees can make their own holiday-themed artwork
- Speed Painter Shane Manier will create live art throughout the evening, giving away four paintings during a holiday-themed trivia session.
