7th Street Public Market, 224 East 7th Street, is holding a fun Halloween event for families on Friday, October 31st, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Kids can trick-or-treat at the vendor booths and collect candy and treats. There will be live music and, at 7:00 p.m., a costume parade around the market. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. Kids’ dinner options will be available for $5 to $6 from Pure Pizza, Local Loaf: Bakery. Restaurant. Patisserie, What’s Your Beef, Cloud 9 Confections, Bonsai Sushi and Orrman’s Cheese Shop. The event will include two storytelling activities at 4:30pm and 6:00pm. Three Candy Apple Making Courses will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m. by Cloud 9 Confection with a $5.00 course fee per person. Limited space is available. The course includes an apple, condiments such as caramel and candy, and an onsite instructor.
