U.S. National Whitewater Center’s Memorial Day Celebration, on Sunday, May 25th, 2014, features a 5K, an 8K, live music and a fireworks celebration. The event is free to attend, but there is a fee for participating in the races, and parking is $5. The bands play from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Rafting and other activities are available as well, with regular fees. In addition, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., The IKA Home Tour will be at the festival, offering home design tips and giveaways.
