The current location of University City Regional Library, at 301 E WT Harris Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina, is closing, and a new library is being built less than a while away on Waters Edge Village Drive, across the pedestrian bridge from Shoppes at University Place.
Say goodbye to the old University City Regional Library, which has served the community for 31 years, at a special event on Thursday, October 31, 2024, from 10:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Schedule
- Fall Festival Storytime 10:15am
- Character Parade with candy at each service desk 11:00am
- UNC Charlotte Department of Music performance in community room- 12pm
- Refreshments – 12:00pm – 2pm
- ChatGPT program – 1-2pm AND 4-5pm in the preteen zone
- Baby Storytime – 2pm
- Library Resources Table 2-4pm
- Genealogy 1:1s (registration required) – 4-6pm
- Pajama Storytime – 6:15pm
