The United States Marine Corps Sports Leadership Academy is training local high school athletes at a free wrestling clinic on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It takes place at East Mecklenburg High School, 6800 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
The event is open to high school students 14 to 19 years of age.
Elite coaches will lead participants through drills that will help them develop skills, increase agility and improve technique.
All participants receive a USMC Sports Leadership Academy t-shirt, free lunch and a camp swag bag. The seven top performers will receive All-Academy medals.
