Valentine's Orchid Festival and Ganache in the Gardens with UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens

UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens’ Valentine’s event is back, expanded and in an in-person format.

The Orchid Festival and Ganache in the Gardens will take place February 11th and 12th, 2023, from 12 to 5 p.m. each day.

Most of the events will take place at Cone University Center, 9025 University Road, with selected events at McMillan Greenhouse, 9026 Craver Road. Both are on UNC Charlotte’s main campus.

Ticket Prices:

Advance sale: $5 (free for Garden members) through February 10th, 2023
Tickets at the door: $7 ($2 for Garden members)

Presentations
Plant sale
Book sale
Arts and crafts vednors
A movie, with popcorn
Self-guided tours of the greenhouse and the orchid collection
Crafting opportunities
Silent auction
Raffle

Presentations include:

Native Orchids of the Carolinas, Sunday, 2 to 3 p.m.
The Cacao Tree, Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m.
Chocolate Making, Saturday and Sunday, 3:30 p.m.
Movie & Popcorn: Plants Behaving Badly: Sex and Lies, Saturday and Sunday, 12:30 p.m.

There will be some classes and guided tours for an additional charge.
