VAPA is a non-profit organization formed in 2021 by ten arts organizations in Charlotte to create a space for artists to create, perform, and exhibit their work.
The space, the VAPA Center, opened at 700 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte, in March of 2022.
Please note that entrance to the parking lot is on College Street and exit is onto Montford Point Street. You can’t enter or exit from Tryon Street. Parking is free.
The VAPA Center is hosting a wide range of arts events. You can find them listed on their website or Facebook page.

Open Studios
The first Saturday of the month, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., The VAPA Center hosts Open Studios. It’s a chance to see what all the artists are up to, and there are often other activities, live music, and more.
