The 2nd Annual Vaptoberfest will take place Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1 to 5 p.m., at VAPA Center, 700 N Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina.
This celebration includes:
- Open-Air Arts Market: Explore a diverse collection of local artists and crafters showcasing their unique creations. Get a jump on your holiday shopping with one-of-a-kind gifts, and support your community’s talented creators.
- Live DJ: Groove to the beats of DJ Tripp from Backspinz Music Academy (https://www.bkspinz.com), who will keep the energy high with an incredible mix of music throughout the day. Dance, sing, and enjoy the rhythm!
- Food Trucks: Satisfy your taste buds with two of Charlotte’s favorite food trucks: Taqueria Guerrero and The Smashed Patty. There’s something for every palate.
- Chalk Art: Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, help us transform our parking lot into a colorful masterpiece of temporary chalk art. We’ll provide the chalk; you provide the inspiration. All ages are invited to leave their mark!
- Community Spirit: Vaptoberfest is not just an event; it’s a celebration of community. Connect with artists, neighbors, and local businesses in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Free Admission (and parking!): Admission to Vaptoberfest is free, making it accessible to all. Bring your friends, family, and even your pets (on a leash) to enjoy the day.
The VAPA Center is a collective of art organizations, providing affordable space for artists. It holds frequent open studio events, live music, performances and more.
