Waxhaw American Legion Post 208, 801 East South Main Street, Waxhaw, is hosting an event to commemorate the 100th anniversary of WW1 on Friday, October 20th, and Saturday, October 21st, 2017.
On each day the event will go form 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free event.
It will feature a vendor market with antiques, vintage, home décor and collectibles.
Kevin Robbins will demonstrate how he creates one-of-a-kind marbles from glass bars. Marbles will be for sale and there will also be a play area for marbles.
Scott Farb will share his stories and historical uniform collection.
Get your picture taken costume for a historical photo shoot. A photographer will be on hand and will offer photo cards on the spot for $20. Or you can take your own pictures for free.
