Many businesses thank veterans and active military members by offering them a free meal or other gift on Veterans Day, which is Tuesday, November 11th, 2014. If you’re a member of the military, please check out this list, and see if there’s a deal that you might be able to take advantage of. If you’re not a military member, you probably know one. - JJ’s Red Hots: FREE all-you-can-eat meal for veterans and active duty military
- Applebees. All vets and active duty military invited to have a meal on Applebee’s to thank them for their service.
- McCormick & Schmick’s: FREE meal for veterans with proof of service. Sunday, November 9. Reservations are recommended.
- California Pizza Kitchen. Every full-service California Pizza Kitchen is participating in this Veterans Day special to say thank you to those who have served and are serving the country. On Tuesday, November 11, veterans and active military may visit any location to receive a free pizza from the menu.
- Carraba’s. Free appetizer of your choice for active duty service members and veterans. Military ID or proof of service required.
- Chili’s. FREE meal on Veterans Day for all military veterans past and present their choice of one of 7 meals during the dinner hour, or any lunch combo during lunch. Offer available at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only. Dine-in from limited menu only; beverages and gratuity not included. Veterans and active duty military simply show proof of military service.
- Einstein Brothers. Enjoy FREE coffee all day on Veterans Day.
- Golden Corral. Military Appreciation Day is NOVEMBER 17 5-9pm at Golden Corral. Active military and veterans get dinner on the house.
- Hooters. Military eat FREE on Veterans Day.
- Krispy Kreme. Doughnuts for veterans! FREE doughnut and small coffee for a delicious breakfast. ID required.
- Menchie’s. FREE frozen yogurt for vets and active service. ID required.
- Olive Garden. On November 11, service members receive acomplimentary entree from a special menu, including Venetian Apricot Chicken, Sausage & Peppers Rustica and Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. Family dining with the service member receive a 10-percent discount on their meals as well. All entrees include freshly baked garlic breadsticks and choice of homemade soup or garden fresh salad.
- Outback Steakhouse. Stop into any Outback Steakhouse on November 11, 2014 to get a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage. This offer is for veterans as well as active duty and retired military as long as proof of service is shown. Also, military mates receive 15% off their order from November 12 – December 31.
- Red Robin. Enjoy a delicious, hearty burger at Red Robin on Veteran’s Day. Veterans and active duty military can stop into Red Robin to get a free Red’s Tavern Double burger and Bottomless Steak Fries. ID required – not all locations participate so check first.
- Shoney’s. Participating Shoney’s will offer a Veterans Day free meal in 2014 that consists of a free All-American Burger. This is for veterans as well as active duty military while supplies last.
- Starbucks. FREE coffee! Starbucks will be giving out free tall brewed coffees to veterans, active duty military, and their spouses on Veterans Day.. Visit website or call to make sure your nearest Starbucks is participating.
- Texas Roadhouse. FREE lunch. Texas Roadhouse will be giving away Veterans Day free lunch meals for lunch on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 to active, former, or retired military.
