Waxhaw Arts Council invites the public to Open Studios Weekend 2017. Local artists are opening their studio doors to the public Saturday, May 6th, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 7th, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for an up-close look and to talk about their creative processes. The tour is self-guided. 25 studios are participating. It’s a free event.
There will also be a Sneak Preview Night on Friday, May 5th, 2017, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church South, 4116 Waxhaw Marvin Road, Waxhaw.
Start in downtown Waxhaw and pick up a gallery map at either Stewart’s Village Gallery, 116 McDonald Street, or Eight Legs Gallery, 310 E South Main Street.
