
Wedgewood: A Social Justice Community is presenting Wedgewood Film Series. The first film in the series is “God & Country,” a powerful documentary by director Dan Partland that examines the rise of Christian Nationalism, its impact on our constitutional republic, and how it distorts Christianity itself.
The screening takes place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 1:30, at VisArt Video, 3104 Eastway Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Shea Watts, PhD, will lead the post-film discussion. Dr. Watts, author of Where the Spirit Is and Director of Contemporary Music and Worship Arts at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, will guide us through a conversation about the film’s themes and their impact on faith, democracy, and justice.
