Come to West End Day Party, at Mosaic Village, and celebrate the efforts to bring food security to the West End. The party will take place Saturday, July 8th, 2017, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
This is a free event. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
There will be live music from Groove 8, BBQ, brews by Three Spirits Brewery, and sides. Bring a chair.
The Carolina Farm Trust and Johnson C. Smith University are presenting this event. Learn about how the community, the Historic West End Partners and John C. Smith University are working to bring fresh local food to the West End.
Day Party Menu :
– Smoked Chicken & Pork from Lee Menius & Carolina Craft Butchery LLC
– Fresh Summer Salad from the Johnson C. Smith University garden
– Traditional African heritage grain side dish with local veg & dressing.
Paul Brewington will be smoking a whole hog overnight for the Day Party. Catch him from 9-3pm selling veggies at the Mosaic Village
