WFAE’s SouthBound Live: Charlotte Forward is a discussion hosted by Tommy Tomlinson that addresses how panelists’ work intersects and what they see as the opportunities and challenges ahead.
It takes place at WFAE Center for Civic and Community Engagement, 301 E 7th Street, Charlotte, North Carolina, on Thursday, March 28, 2024, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Guests will talk about planning, land use and the arts, and how those areas impact Charlotte’s future.

- Charis Blackmon, executive director of the West Side Community Land Trust
- Alyson Craig, director of Charlotte’s Planning, Design and Development, and one of the architects of the 2040 Plan
- Monique Douglas, engagement director of the Brooklyn Collective, an arts organization dedicated to accelerating inclusivity and economic mobility
