Raleigh native Marshall Sandman, host of the Instagram Live interview series, “Spilling the Quarantea” (@spillingthequarantea), has launched What to Do: Responding to Racism.
“What to Do: Responding to Racism,” starting today, June 5th, through Thursday, June 11th, features a week of informative interviews on Spilling the Quarantea with Black people, indigenous people, and people of color, such as Sherif Fouad, Egyptian born activist and CEO of Raleigh Raw, Shelden Williams, the former NBA and Duke basketball star, and Jordan Johnson-Hinds, star of Amazon Studios’ “Upload” and USA’s “Suits.”
These guests will share their perspectives on and experiences with the Black Lives Matter movement, the recent protests, related donation and educational resources, and more. The show will raise funds for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. – America’s premier legal organization fighting for racial justice.
The interviews will be streamed on Instagram.com/SpillingTheQuarantea.
The current show schedule includes:
- Monday, June 8, 1 p.m.: Jordan Johnson-Hinds, star of Amazon Studios’ “Upload” and USA’s “Suits”
- Tuesday, June 9, 5 p.m.: Shelden Williams, the former NBA and Duke basketball star and host of the podcast, “The Lease is Up”
- Wednesday, June 10, 1 p.m.: Sherif Fouad, Egyptian born activist & CEO of Raleigh Raw, NC’s premier juice and raw food company, and founder of Raw U, a member based, community driven, educational and spiritual program that challenges members to dig deep past cultural conditioning.
- Thursday, June 11, 2 p.m.: Christina Caradona, famed fashion influencer with 350K+ Instagram followers and the creator of the blog Trop Rouge
